Schedule

Rather than flood you with information in an intensive format that feels stressful and doesn't give you time to integrate the learning, this program is spread out. Manageable amounts of learning each week gives you time to implement what you're learning during the course. You will graduate with confidence in your new skills and be able to maintain your regular life obligations.

Classes will be held at Namaste North studio, in Barrie, on Thursdays, starting in May and running until December. Theses sessions will start with practice at 4pm and move to workshop or lecture learning for the remainder of the evening.

There will also be 7 weekend intensives through the course, roughly every 4-6 weeks, from 8am-5pm.

Like many schooling programs, we take a summer break. No classes in July to let you enjoy a break for summer and catch up/get ahead on the course.

Course Facilitator

Jessy Thomas

Jessy has been teaching fitness and yoga, full-time, for over 20 years. She runs a yoga studio in Everett, Ontario, where she holds regular classes, private fitness and therapeutic sessions, workshops and retreats to local and international destinations.

Jessy likes to call herself a yoga mutt. She started her yoga journey with a strong foundation of Iyengar yoga. Over the years practicing Bikram, Asthanga, Yin and somatics. She has intensely studied therapeutic application of yoga.

Jessy's natural open-mindedness and questioning personality has informed her teachings to include a wide variety of lineages. Not only that, but these core values help to make her students feel seen, safe to ask questions and learn.

You will benefit from her wealth of anatomical knowledge, and its practical application, as you learn to truly see the student in front of you.

You'll love how Jessy's fun and playful personality comes across in her teachings and will become re-inspired to apply what you've learned from her to your own teachings.
